Terms & Conditions – Medic Touch Physiotherapy by Paulina Pietrasik

1. Scope of Services

1.1. Medic Touch Physiotherapy (“the Clinic”) provides physiotherapy, soft tissue therapy, massage, rehabilitation exercises and related therapeutic services.
1.2. All treatments are delivered by qualified practitioners under the supervision of Paulina Pietrasik.
1.3. All services are personalised and may include hands-on therapy, movement assessment, exercise prescription, or other evidence-based methods.


2. Client Information & Registration

2.1. Clients must provide accurate and complete personal information when booking an appointment, including relevant medical history.
2.2. The Clinic processes personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy. All information is kept confidential and used exclusively for clinical and administrative purposes.


3. Payments

3.1. Payment for treatment is required at the time of the appointment unless otherwise agreed in advance.
3.2. The Clinic accepts debit/credit card payments, bank transfers, or other approved payment methods.
3.3. The Clinic reserves the right to withhold future appointments if outstanding balances remain unpaid.


4. Cancellations, Rescheduling & No-Show Policy

4.1. Clients must provide at least 24 hours’ notice if they wish to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
4.2. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a 100% session fee, payable in full.
4.3. Failure to attend an appointment without notice (“no-show”) requires payment of the full cost of the missed session.
4.4. Please note that cancellation or no-show charges are not always reimbursed by insurance providers, and in such cases the client is fully responsible for payment.


5. Changes or Cancellations by the Clinic

5.1. In rare circumstances (e.g., therapist illness or emergencies), the Clinic may need to reschedule or cancel an appointment.
5.2. Clients will be notified as early as possible, and an alternative appointment will be offered without additional charge.


6. Client Responsibilities

6.1. Clients must inform their therapist of any changes in health, medication, or medical conditions prior to treatment.
6.2. If a client is late, the appointment may be shortened to accommodate the clinic’s schedule. The full fee for the session may still apply.
6.3. Clients may decline certain treatments, but should discuss any concerns with their therapist beforehand.


7. Liability

7.1. The Clinic operates under professional standards and carries appropriate insurance for clinical practice.
7.2. The Clinic is not responsible for adverse outcomes resulting from incomplete or inaccurate medical information provided by the client.
7.3. Clients participate in treatment at their own risk and are encouraged to raise any concerns immediately.


8. Complaints & Dispute Resolution

8.1. The Clinic aims to deliver a high standard of care. If a client is dissatisfied, they may submit a formal complaint which will be handled through our complaints procedure.
8.2. The Clinic will attempt to resolve issues amicably. If this is not possible, external mediation or professional regulatory channels may be used.


9. Amendments to Terms & Conditions

9.1. The Clinic reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time.
9.2. Updated Terms will be published on new.medictouch.co.uk, and clients will be notified of significant changes where appropriate.


10. Final Provisions

10.1. These Terms & Conditions constitute the full agreement between the client and the Clinic regarding the provision of physiotherapy services.
10.2. If any part of these Terms is deemed invalid, the remaining provisions shall continue to apply.
10.3. By booking an appointment, the client acknowledges and agrees to these Terms & Conditions.
